Java Developer (ML credit risk models)

We’re looking for a Java EE developer to join our team in Kyiv. We use state of the art machine learning and mathematical modeling to create credit risk models for clients in emerging markets, based on data extracted from a client's smartphone. We are also recognized as positively influencing our target markets, by giving credit to an otherwise unbanked population.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience with Java EE;
  • Experience with Microservices and Serverless architecture;
  • Java: Java 8, Spring (Boot, MVC, Data, Cloud, Security, AOP), Hibernate, JAX-WS, Drools;
  • Testing: JUnit, Mockito, Hamcrest;
  • Databases: PostgreSQL, Liquibase, Redis, NoSQL (will be a plus);
  • Hands-on with SQL
  • Continuous Integration: Gradle, Jenkins, Git
  • Knowledge of cloud hosting services on AWS  will be a plus
  • Big Data technologies will be a plus;
  • Linux, Bash scripting will be a plus;
  • At least intermediate English (written and spoken).
